Неожиданно тихое место. Раньше тут была царская резиденция, потом Николай II отдал её под приют для инвалидов войн. Проект разрабатывал Константин Тон под непосредственным руководством императора. При этом, именно по его советам, многие здания и переходы были переделаны для удобства перемещения инвалидов без выхода на улицу. После революции инвалидов выгнали и тут был жилой рабочий городок им.Баумана. Сейчас музей. Без экскурсии не очень интересно, а на экскурсию нужно подгадывать. Если не повезло и на экскурсию не попали, остаётся только побродить по острову и покормить общительную белку Лариску у внутренних ворот...
